A bit about me

I'm a developer and designer currently based in Canberra, Australia. I spend a lot of time abroad. I love gaming (tabletop and video games), travelling, learning to play guitar, and building communities.

I do 100-Day Challenges. Lately, my goals for Atlantis, Grid, and myself are becoming bigger. I'm at the point of my life where I'm whittling down the side projects in order to focus on the main ones.

My tech site is over at ladyofcode.com.

What I'm up to these days

  • Streaming and working on content creation.
  • Building video games with Solarspark.
  • Building the Atlantis community.
  • Hosting workshops, streams, and projects at Artifex and Atlantis.
  • Developing kickass community software at Grid.
  • Learning how to better function as a human at System You.
  • Learning guitar.

Random trivia

  • I love escape rooms. I've done over 30 of them.
  • Australia is my fifth country of residence! I'm from South Africa, and lived in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Malaysia. The UK is my honorary sixth country of residence.
  • My earliest computer memory is using MS Paint for the first time. I was three years old. I tried sneaking onto the computer when Dad wasn't around but opened up Internet Explorer instead. I remember being disappointed and then gave up immediately because I had no idea how to find it on the computer.
  • I build new (mostly creative tech) communities wherever I end up living. They're my fam 💖.
